Diaper Free Confidence

Okay, let's be serious for a minute. When I initially became a Mother, I assumed I had everything sorted out. I'd read the books, seen the videos, and even practiced saying "you can do it!" in front of the mirror. 

Potty training? Easy peasy, right?

Oh, how mistaken I was.

My first rodeo was with my son Jake. He was two and a half, and I was equipped with sticker charts, M&Ms, and enough optimism to launch a rocket to the moon. On day one, I stripped him down, sat him on the toilet……
